New Radio Show.

26 April 2008 | Uncategorized | No Comments

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you know that we uploaded a new episode of S.F.’s favorite amateur hour, The Gemini Radio Show on West Add Radio. Chris couldn’t make it out and one of the turntables lost a channel but I think we salvaged the show with comedy (a Rotterdam hardcore remix of the Doobie Bro’s “What a Fool Believes”) and quality (the usual “top-level” selections you’ve come to expect from us). Highlights include Nick having a conversation with a speaker and me mumbling on about nothing in particular. Probably the most surreal show we’ve recorded in a long time, give it a listen and be hypnotized by our disco mania.

All bummed because Gemini isn’t happening until next month?

Here’s the answer! Nicky B. and Chris Vick DJ Italo Disco at the Deco this Saturday. If you enjoyed the records that Robot Hustle played, I can guarantee you that you will have a great time at Ferrari. Better still, it goes till 4am, so you can burn an early morning candle (or however the saying goes).

First Batch of Mighty Gemini Photos!

I don’t know about you but I’m still recovering from the sheer, indescribable, disco insanity that was friday night/saturday morning. Robot Hustle really kept Nick and I on our toes with his epic italo records and mind-boggling technical wizardry. What a treat though, smiles everywhere, surprises around every corner, and an AMAZING Richard Long designed sound system.

Still basking in the afterglow and looking to relive some of the night, I came across these 20 photographs by “spacedog” on Flickr. I think he captures the feeling of the night excellently: sweat, confetti and all. These should definitely satiate you until I can post our official photos by Lady Meat.
